The body as an architecture

This workshop focusses on all the techniques and skills you will need to draw the human body with depth. In the first part of the workshop you will learn what makes a human representation appear flat and how you can construct your drawings to give the human anatomy a feel of presence and space. Besides the basic anatomy I will give you all the drawing techniques you need to make any human form fit seemlessly in the surrounding perspective and space, in any style.

The second part focusses on the painting and drawing techniques that are specifically suited for avoiding common errors and gives you a few tools, tips and tricks o how to treat anatomy, composition and perspective together, so that your drawing will become much more alive.

Workshop Perspectief en Anatomie

Zaterdag 2 Maart

In deze workshop komen alle vaardigheden en technieken aan bod die je nodig hebt om levensechte en ruimtelijke menselijke figuren te tekenen of schilderen. In het eerste gedeelte van de workshop leer je wat een figuur plat laat lijken en wat een menselijk lichaam diepte geeft. Naast de anatomie leer je alle tekentechnieken die je nodig hebt om een menselijke figuur kloppend en goed gelijkend binnen een rumte en perspectief te plaatsen, geheel binnen je eigen persoonlijke stijl.

In het tweede gedeelte leer je nog een aantal tips en vaardigheden die je helpen de meest gemaakte fouten te vermijden. Ik laat je zien hoe je de anatomie, basisvormen en perspectief allemaal samen kan gebruiken, zodat je met een goed gevulde set vaardigheden naar huis gaat, waarmee je je menselijke figuren levendig en levensecht kan maken.
